Fandom Discussion: Marvel
Jan. 26th, 2019 08:40 pmI figured that since I named my journal "Fuzzyred's Marvel Reading Nook", I would make this week's post about Marvel. It is a giant fandom, and I like it a lot, so there will probably be many future Saturday posts about it as well.
I really enjoy reading stories about the Avengers, because there is a lot to explore. Canon gives a lot to work with, as well as leaving a lot of gaps or unsatisfying points that people want to fix. It allows for creative storytelling to take place and results in a great variety of stories to read.
My favourite pairing to read is probably Clint/Coulson, because I enjoy both of those characters a lot. I might also have a small competency kink and both of those guys are badass as f***. I like reading the stories where the author delves further into the many facets of their relationship and shows their growth. They are both far from perfect and it is nice to see where they came from and how they move forward from where they are now.
