I've not had issues with them being run down, though the most recent ones I've eaten at are in Ohio and thus fairly new (they didn't use to run north of the Mason Dixon; when I realised there was a WH in the Columbus area that was NORTH of the Tim Horton's, I about laughed my arse off... ) The food is pretty much same as it ever was. Greasy, but not *too* greasy. The lingo hasn't changed, either... Just the number and variety of hash brown toppings. Which has a handy explanation chart.
